Butterfly Garden

The Garden is free visit for individuals, daily opening of the park, from 15 April to 30 September, from 10 am to 12 am and from 1 pm to 6 pm. Two or three guided tours are proposed every day (depended season), the morning at 10 am and the afternoon at 1:30 pm and 3 pm.

For the rest of time, from 01 October at the beginning of April, the garden remains open, even if there are no more butterflies, but without guided visit, and can therefore be visited like a simple garden, with a number educational panels.

HOURS ARE VARIABLE ACCORDING SEASON AND WEATHER, YOU INQUIRE TO THE RECEPTION OR GARDEN

We have built a garden of 7 000 m2, to plant more than 1 500 plants attached to Provencal butterflies and their caterpillars. The first count has allowed us to count as many as 50 different species of butterflies, and we hope to accomodate and therefore present you with nearly 130 species.

It's for us to work on biodiversity by strengthening the populations of Provencal insects and butterflies and by helping to preserve rare and endangered species. Our garden is therefore completely open to spontaneous, wild and free butterflies, which are attracted by this open space where plants grow and grow which attract them for their nectar but also for the laying and feeding of their caterpillars.

You will discover the main Mediterranean butterflies, their subtle strategies of survival and reproduction, the sumptuousness of shapes and colors, their essential relationship with the plant wolrd.
